A new AI assistant will soon bring ChatGPT-like convenience to the pockets of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram users, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Thursday. The major changes across all three of the companies apps, utilising generative AI, were revealed at the annual Connect conference, and showcase and highlighted what social media is about to look like in what Meta called “this next generation of AI”. “Meta AI is a new assistant you can interact with like a person,” Meta said in a statement on Thursday.
