Minnesota United are close to completing a deal to appoint Manchester United assistant coach Eric Ramsay as their new head coach , as reported by Tom Bogert of The Athletic. The MLS club are planning to appoint a new boss before their MLS season opener against Austin FC after interim head coach Sean McAuley left the club to join Indy Eleven at the start of the year.
