Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo was convinced Diogo Dalot would come good at Old Trafford due to his work ethic. Dalot joined United from Porto for £19m in June 2018, but largely struggled to pin down a place in the starting lineup for his first few seasons at the club. Following a successful loan stint at Serie A giants AC Milan however, Dalot's importance to the Red Devils grew and he has firmly cemented himself as a key part of Erik ten Hag's plans. The full-back was once again in fine form for United at the weekend, putting in a player of the match performance in a crucial 2-1 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League . Speaking about Dalot's improvements in recent seasons on podcast Five , Ferdinand revealed that ex-United star Ronaldo believed in his compatriot's ability to succeed at the club since day one. 90min Man Utd WhatsApp channel Looking to keep up to date with everything happening at Old Trafford?  Click this

After the match, Arsenal's players celebrated with real passion and club captain Odegaard attracted plenty of criticism after he took the photographer's camera to capture some memories of the moment himself. The Norway international has already laughed off the negativity, and Gunners legend Parlour believes there was no other way to celebrate such an important victory. "Of course you have [got to celebrate those moments],"he told 90min in an interview with NetBet . "You get into the hype with the fans. Egypt legend Ahmed Hasan has accused Mohamed Salah of " plotting his departure " from the Africa Cup of Nations after suffering a muscle injury. The Liverpool superstar was substituted after tweaking his hamstring during Egypt's 2-2 draw with Ghana, and Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the Premier League leaders intend to fly the 31-year-old back for treatment. Salah was in the stands for Egypt's dramatic draw with Cape Verde, which saw them narrowly squeeze through to the knockout rounds, but he is not expected to attend future Game s until he is back to full fitness. That has drawn the ire of former Egypt captain Hasan - who lifted the Africa Cup of Nations on four occasions - and he was quick to express his disappointment at Salah's decision to leave the national team camp. “I’ve always backed Salah and I was very happy with his presence as captain of the Egyptian national team," Hasan said. "I had no problems with what he said, but it turned out th

But even marine biologists are baffled, with Professor David Lusseau from the University of Aberdeen, saying he would need more information. We would need shots of the front end (and probably a bit of poking around) to get an ID.’Confusion surrounding the creature hasn’t stopped people from sharing the
