Kansas City has been rocked after a series of shots were fired at the end of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade , with an estimated one million people in attendance as the NFL champions celebrated Sunday’s victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Not long after the end of the parade at the city’s Union Station, there were reports of gunfire nearby, with Kansas City Police quickly confirming the shootings via a Twitter/X thread, in which they initially instructed people to leave the area, and revealed people inside Union Station were not allowed to leave until its surroundings had been cleared.
