Santiago Giménez transfer update: West Ham interested in striker

Mexican forward Santiago Giménez is receiving interest from the Premier League with West Ham United reportedly tracking the 22-year-old. Giménez has been in red-hot form this season, scoring 20 goals in 22 Game s for the reigning Eredivisie champions. The Times reports that West Ham are considering a move for Giménez this month but the Dutch club are eager to keep him until the summer. The Mexican international scored 31 Eredivisie goals in 2023 and was named Man of the Year in the Netherlands. Inter Miami have confirmed the signing of ex-Barcelona striker Luis Suárez , with the Uruguayan joining the Florida club on a contract running until the end of the 2024 Major League Soccer season. Suárez moves to MLS as a free agent after leaving Brazilian club Grêmio, where the 36-year-old scored 26 goals in 53 Game s during a 12-month stay. Wolves close to winning race for in-demand striker

Wolves are close to finalising a deal to sign Atletico Madrid striker Matheus Cunha, 90min understands. 90min confirmed earlier this month that Wolves had held talks with Atletico over a double deal for both Cunha and centre-back Felipe. A number of Premier League rivals later voiced their desire to land Cunha. Aston Villa, Everton and Leeds have all spoken with Atletico, while the striker 's representatives have offered his services to Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United. Cunha is understood to be interested in working with Lopetegui and sources have confirmed that a deal has been agreed the two clubs which would see the 23-year-old move to Molineux on an initial loan deal. As part of the deal, Wolves would have the option to sign Cunha permanently for around €40m.
