Borussia Dortmund 'make breakthrough' in Man Utd talks over Jadon Sancho
Jadon Sancho is closing in on a return to Borussia Dortmund after the club made a breakthrough in negotiations with Manchester United. Sancho has not played for the Red Devils since August after Erik ten Hag dropped him from their matchday squad to face Arsenal, citing low performance levels in training as his reasoning. However, the winger refuted this claim on social media and then refused to apologise to the Dutchman for this misdemeanour. Following this clash, Sancho was ordered to train away from the United first-team and he has long been expected to leave during the January transfer window. Reports across Europe earlier this week claimed former side Dortmund were looking to take Sancho back on an initial loan deal, and German outlet BILD now claim a loan move is close to completion.
