'Tony' Yasumura reveals all about his not-naked shtick and its origins in Japanese comedy

The shtick that’s gone viral features a soccer player, a Spice Girl, James Bond, you name it, appearing to be naked TOKYO -- The shtick that’s gone viral features a soccer player, a Spice Girl, James Bond, you name it, appearing to be naked , except they’re not really naked at all. The disarming sight gag by Japanese comic Tonikaku Akarui Yasumura is simple and rather silly. But its bare-all message about the deceptiveness of what meets the eye has a lot of people laughing. The recent appearance of Tony, as Yasumura is known these days, on “Britain’s Got Talent” has drawn more than 10 million views on the audition show's YouTube account. “Do it with a majestically dignified and utterly unfounded confidence,” he told The Associated Press recently in Tokyo, of the secret to his comedy. “That gets over because what you're doing is such nonsense.” Yasumura has been doing his trademark act for nearly a decade on TV shows and comedy houses around Japan. Frank Lampard reveals plans after final Chelsea game

Frank Lampard took pride in Chelsea's final performance of his spell as interim manager while announcing that he was going to take a 'break" from management. Chelsea have slumped to a raft of record lows this term but managed to rally after falling behind at home to Newcastle on Sunday afternoon. Anthony Gordon scored his first goal for the Magpies in the opening ten minutes but Kieran Trippier inadvertently diverted the ball into his own net after a slick set-piece routine inside half an hour. Nevertheless, a 1-1 draw was not enough to lift Chelsea any higher than 12th place - while Newcastle revelled in their first top-four finish in two decades. Lampard won just one of his 11 games across all competitions after returning to Stamford Bridge in April. Read the latest Chelsea news here feed The Blues outshot Newcastle 22 to 13 and boasted the lion's share of possession, prompting Lampard to tell BBC's Match of the Day : "I think [we should have won]. Anastasia Domini and wife Anna are part of an increasing number of Russians from the LGBTQ+ community who have decided to leave their homeland to escape discrimination and settle in Argentina, where same-sex marriage has been legal for more than a decade BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- Anastasia Domini and wife Anna Domini walked hand in hand on a recent sunny day in Argentina’s capital while their four restless children played nearby. It's a common sight in a country where same-sex marriage has been legal for more than a decade. But the couple, who got married shortly after arriving in Buenos Aires early last year, still remember the fear they felt when they first decided to hold hands in public after leaving Russia, which explicitly outlawed same-sex marriages in 2020. “It was really scary,” Anastasia Domini said, but “we were looking around and really, really nobody was looking.” For the Dominis, who changed their last names so they could more convincingly pretend to be sisters in Ru

KYIV, Ukraine -- Ukraine's military intelligence has claimed, without offering evidence, that Russia is plotting a “large-scale provocation” at a nuclear power plant it occupies in the southeast of the country with the aim of disrupting a looming Ukrainian counteroffensive. A statement released Friday by the intelligence directorate of Ukraine's Defense Ministry claimed that Russian forces would strike the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the biggest in Europe, and then report a radioactive leak in order to trigger an international probe that would pause the hostilities and give the Russian forces the respite they need to regroup ahead of the counteroffensive. In order to make that happen, Russia “disrupted the rotation of pe

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration stripped one of the nation's largest drug distributors of its license to sell highly addictive painkillers Friday after determining it failed to flag thousands of suspicious orders at the height of the opioid crisis. The action against Morris & Dickson Co. that threatens to put it out of Business came two days after an Associated Press investigation found the DEA allowed the company to keep shipping drugs for nearly four years after a judge recommended the harshest penalty for its “cavalier disregard” of rules aimed at preventing opioid abuse. The DEA acknowledged the time it took to issue its final decision was “longer than typical for the agency” but blamed Morris & Dickson in
