Liverpool have picked a pretty unfortunate moment in the season to be struck with a seemingly relentless stream of injuries. The Reds are having to fend off Manchester City and Arsenal in the Premier League title race, while they're also still flying in the Europa League and FA Cup. Oh, and there's the small matter of a Carabao Cup final clash with Chelsea this Sunday too. Joe Gomez has opened about how various injuries throughout his Liverpool career have impacted his mental Health . The defender joined Liverpool back in 2015 and, while he has made over 150 appearances for the club in that period, Gomez has spent a lot of time on the periphery due a number of injuries. Gomez suffered a cruciate ligament injury early on in his Reds career, missing over 100 games due to the ailment, and has missed 129 games since then with various other problems. Naby Keita has admitted that things 'didn't go so well' during his recently concluded five years at Liverpool, but remains full of praise for how manager Jurgen Klopp treated him. Keita arrived at Anfield with big expectations from fans after a transfer in excess of £50m was arranged nearly a year in advance, especially having established himself as one of the best young midfielders in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.
