Luis Diaz's father has revealed that his son's " dream " is to play for La Liga giants Barcelona in the future. Diaz's father was recently handed over to UN officials after being kidnapped, alongside his wife Cilenis Marulanda, by the ELN - a left-wing rebel group that's been active in Colombia since 1964 - after a lengthy spell in captivity. For the first time since his release, Diaz's father was in attendance to watch his son play in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Colombia and Brazil this week, and bore witness to the wide forward bagging a brace in a famous win for his country. Kevin Love has found a new NBA home. After agreeing to a buyout with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, Love will sign with the Miami Heat for the remainder of the season, he confirmed Sunday. Love also talked with the Philadelphia 76ers before deciding to sign with the Heat. With the Heat he figures to have a sizable role as Miami makes a playoff push over the backend of the season.  In Miami, Love will provide the Heat with some added frontcourt depth, giving them a floor spacing forward who can still knock down 3s at a high clip.
