Officials in the nearby state of Guanajuato said all the passengers were from the same city, Leon, in that state. It is not unusual for friends, relatives or neighbors in Mexico to pool their money to rent a bus for beach vacations. Prosecutors in Nayarit said the accident occurred Friday, on a rural stretch of road. They said the dead included at least four children. Local media said the Travel ers were returning from Guayabitos, a beach town north of Puerto Vallarta. The causes of the crash were under investigation. Forty five of the injured were being treated at local hospitals, and ther

Everton recall Championship loan star

Everton have recalled forward Ellis Simms from his loan spell at Sunderland to bolster their attacking options. Simms made his Premier League debut with the Toffees last year, playing 62 minutes of a 1-1 draw away at Chelsea in December and then joined Hearts on loan. He went on to score five Scottish Premiership goals in the second half of last season before again being sent out temporarily, this time to Sunderland. The 21-year-old has scored seven goals in the Championship this term, including a recent run of four strikes in six Game s, and has returned to Goodison Park to bolster Frank Lampard's attacking options. Sunderland sporting director Kristjaan Speakman said: "Ellis’ return to Merseyside is a real disappointment for us due to the shared progress that he and the Club have made this season. "Unfortunately, this is the nature of loans when they are successful, but it is a testament to Tony and the wider staff - and of course to Ellis - that Everton feel he is rea

We Could Be Living And Working on The Moon by 2030, Says NASA

Humans are on track to live and work on the Moon by 2030, a NASA official has said. “We’re going to be sending people down to the surface and they’re going to be living on that surface and doing Science ,” said Howard Hu, who leads the Orion lunar spacecraft program for NASA, the BBC reported Sunday. The Moon colony won’t look quite like this, of course. (Frieso Hoevelkamp/Stocktrek Images/Getty Images) NASA successfully launched its powerful new Space Launch System, or SLS, rocket last week, sending the Orion spacecraft on its way towards the Moon. The launch, which had been repeatedly delayed, set NASA’s Artemis missions in motion, the first major step towards putting humans back on the Moon in almost 50 years. Orion is uncrewed this time around, as it aims to test its ability to bring a capsule to the Moon and back. But next time it is expected to take astronauts with it as it circles the celestial body. If all goes well, the same spacecraft could then be used to put

Sports Story Player Finds Hidden Room That Hints At Troubled Development

Sports Story was shadowdropped onto the Nintendo Switch store not too long ago, and ever since players have been reporting game breaking glitches and bugs. Developer Sidebar Games has already issued a statement explaining that these will be ironed out in a future patch, but a secret room that has been discovered in-game may have given us the reason behind the game's state at the moment. Sports Story features several places in which players can get out of bounds, and a Twitter user called tendog has been documenting all of the ways you can do so. What they didn't expect to find is a secret room that only seems to be accessible by clipping out of bounds, in which you'll encounter a team of developers called Cold Cartridge working on a game called GALF. Japanese Poll Reveals Splatoon Is The Most Requested Anime Adaptation

It’s the end of the year, which is the perfect time to ask fans what they want to see in 2023. And what people want to see is a Splatoon anime. Japanese fan site Anime! Anime! (via Go Nintendo) recently posted the results of its annual year-end poll for the property that fans most want to see turned into an anime. The poll was conducted between December 3 and December 11, with 35 percent of respondents being male, 60 percent female, and five percent other. Of those that replied, 55 percent were 19 and under, about a quarter were in their 20s, and 20 percent were older than that. So a pretty young crowd, generally. Related: Splatoon Has Once Again Become A Home For Queer Rebellion Splatoon took the top spot, up from second place in last year’s survey. Xenoblade Chronicles also got a bump, likely due to the recently-released Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and The Legend of Zelda comes in at third, although I suspect that’ll change with the release of Tears of the Kingdom next year. Shakhtar Donetsk send Mykhaylo Mudryk warning to Arsenal after rejected bid

Shakhtar Donetsk deputy sporting director Carlo Nicolini has warned Arsenal they must increase their offer if they are to sign winger Mykhaylo Mudryk in January. The Gunners recently failed with a bid worth a total of £55m, which is believed to have included around £20m in add-ons, although talks remain on over an increased bid for the in-demand Ukraine international. Shakhtar have publicly claimed it will take closer to €100m to lure Mudryk away and Nicolini has warned Arsenal their opening offer came nowhere close to their valuation. "I can confirm that Arsenal are one of the most active teams," he told calciomercato.it . "When there is a team interested, we ask them, 'Make an offer and when we have it on the table, we'll start negotiating'. "As we've always said, to deal with Mudryk you will need an important offer. Arsenal may have made such an offer, but there is negotiations. Players have been sold that clubs wanted to sell and that we belie

Pep Guardiola admits Man City need more goals from Jack Grealish

Pep Guardiola has challenged Jack Grealish to score more goals after Manchester City beat Leeds 3-1 at Elland Road. It was a good performance and comfortable win for Guardiola’s men, but it could and probably should have been a lot easier. Grealish missed three clear chances in the first half and was unable to work the goalkeeper on any of them. He eventually came good by assisting two Erling Haaland goals in the second half, but Guardiola admitted that he wanted to see more product from the former Aston Villa man. "Grealish made two assists, he allowed us to give an extra pass when he had it,” Guardiola told Amazon Prime. “With Riyad [Mahrez] and Jack the tempo was better, but he has to be more ambitious. He has to score more goals and be com Pet itive because he has the quality to do it. The win saw Man City cut Arsenal’s lead at the top of the Premier League to five points, and Guardiola was happy to get the win considering Leeds had the whole World Cup break to prepare fo

Astronomers find an alien planet with a deep ocean that is ideal for supporting life

Image
A team of astronomers has found an exoplanet in the Draco constellation that is 100 light years from Earth and its surface is submerged in a vast ocean. The exo planet , TOI-1452b, is a little bigger than Earth and is situated in a “Goldilocks zone,” which is a region where the temperature is just right for liquid water to exist. So, according to astronomers, TOI-1452b is expected to be covered in an ocean . The exoplanet orbits “a nearby visual-binary M dwarf” star. Dr. Charles Cadieux, a researcher at the University of Montreal, headed the multinational team that made the discovery; their work was published in the Astronomical Journal. According to Cadieux, TOI-1452b is one of the most promising candidates for an ocean planet that has been discovered so far. Its mass and radius point to a far lower density than one might anticipate for a planet like Earth, which is primarily composed of metal and rock. The scientists were made aware of the exoplanet’s existence by NASA’s T

Jesse Lingard criticises Man Utd ahead of Old Trafford return

Jesse Lingard has hit out at his former club Manchester United, claiming he was never given a proper explanation for being frozen out at the club and accusing United officials of making 'false promises'. The 30-year-old midfielder graduated from United's academy and went on to make 232 appearances for the club, but struggled for game time in his later years at Old Trafford and appeared just four times during his final season. Lingard went out on loan to West Ham and impressed during the second half of the 2020/21 season, only to return to United and continue to be left out by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his successor, Ralf Rangnick. Speaking ahead of his return to Old Trafford as a Nottingham Forest player, having joined the newly-promoted club in the summer, Lingard admits he still feels left in the dark by his treatment at United. "I don’t know why I wasn’t playing," Lingard told The Telegraph . "I don’t know what the problem was, whether it was politics or

Elden Ring Players Reminisce On "OP" Character Classes From The Network Test

Some Elden Ring players enjoy challenge runs where they try to beat the Game at Rune Level 1, or with only their fists, or with no healing, or taking no hits. These are the masochists. There are others who simply want to be as over-powered as possible so they can slap even the toughest bosses with one hit. Players over on the subreddit have been reminiscing about the OP classes available in the network test, before FromSoftware balanced things out. People are lamenting the loss of the old Prophet, Champion, Bloody Wolf, Warrior, and Enchanted Knight starting classes. It may seem weird to pine after old classes when you can customise your build however you like, but it's their starting stats that make them so good. Being able to min-max effectively helps a lot in the PvP scene. Why Wolff expects 'very difficult' challenge for Mercedes in 2023

Toto Wolff admits that Mercedes face a "very difficult " task in 2023 in terms of closing the development gap to Red Bull and Ferrari. The 2022 season proved to be a difficult one for the Silver Arrows, with the W13 being affected by issues including porpoising from an early stage in the campaign. While there were signs of progress – along with a victory for George Russell at the penultimate race of the year in Brazil – the team finished third in the Constructors' Championship after being unable to match the pace of their rivals at the front of the pack. Wolff is feeling positive about the squad's chances of moving forwards in the next season, but acknowledges that it could be challenging. Wolff on 'difficult' development slope "I'm always a half-empty glass guy, and I see the risks," Wolff told the Beyond The Grid podcast. "As
