NBA LA Clippers vs LA Lakers same game parlay picks: Clippers continue to dominate Lakers at +1030 odds

The Clippers made headlines on Halloween by trading for James Harden and judging by their win over Orlando, giving away several role players hasn’t had a negative effect on the roster. They are 3-1 SU on the season so far and with Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard all finally healthy and playing, they have every right to hope for a win tonight. The Lakers barely scrapped through vs the Magic, their 2 wins this season were by just 5 and 3 points. They are yet to cover the spread in 4 attempts, so it’s a bit puzzling that the oddsmakers have them favored by 5 points here. The Clippers have thoroughly owned them over the past 3 seasons winning 11 match-ups in a row, with an average margin of victory of 11 points per win. I’ll take the Clippers to win outright here.

Anthony Davis to Score 25+ Points (-105)

Mr. Inconsistency, as some have started calling him, has had a pretty consistent start to the new season. AD is averaging 25.8 points per Game for the 2-2 Lakers. After dropping 30 points in back-to-back Games vs Phoenix and at Sacramento, he had an efficient 26 and 19 rebounds in the win over Orlando. He has no other choice but to show up here, otherwise the Lakers will be toast. He’s cleared this line 3 times in the last 5 meetings with the Clippers, while averaging 24 points on better than 55% shooting during that stretch. The Clippers are somewhat thin at the center position with Ivica Zubac being their starter, AD has the agility and quickness advantage over him. Expect the Lakers to look for their big man early and often in this one.

LeBron James Over 1.5 Threes Made (-120)

He might not be the athlete he once was and that’s fine, because LeBron James is capable of hurting teams in more ways than one. He’s had some spectacular performance vs the Clippers even at his advanced age, over the last 5 meetings he’s averaging 31 points against them. In particular his three-point shooting has been a highlight, he’s at 4.2 makes from distance during that stretch on an impressive 45.7%. In last season’s January Game vs the Clippers he exploded for 46 points while knocking down 9 threes. Through 4 Games so far he’s averaging 30.4% of makes from downtown, and if that’s a bit discoursing for you, it is worth noting that he’s cleared this line in his last 2 Games vs Sacramento and Orlando. I’m confident he will deliver at least two makes from deep in this Game.

OpenAI in talks to raise new funding at $100 billion valuation

 OpenAI is in early talks to raise a fresh round of funding at a valuation at or above $100 billion , Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing people with knowledge of the matter. The terms, valuation and timing of the funding round have not yet been finalized and could still change, the report said. OpenAI has also held discussions to raise funding for a new chip venture with Abu Dhabi-based G42, according to the report.
